Mikayla Mtanous first became involved in politics while working on campaigns during college. She later worked at the legislature as a Legislative Assistant and Committee Administrator. With a background in policy, organizing, communications, public relations, and strategy, she currently serves as a Policy and Political Director at a Minneapolis-based nonprofit.

Outside of work, Mikayla enjoys staying active and finding time to recharge. She loves weightlifting, yoga sculpt, and running, and enjoys trying new workouts and spending time outdoors. When she’s taking a break from her busy schedule, you can usually find her with a good book or exploring new coffee shops.
